The plan was to run an eco-bed and breakfast of a high standard. You can see this plan in many ways. The location has been carefully selected. The construction was prepared with great care, tests were carried out on the soil quality, the entry of the title of the property was checked and a topographical survey was carried out. The design of the house was put on paper by Natural Builders SA from Boquete, one of the best architects and engineering firms in Panama. The materials and techniques used have been selected to ensure maximum durability, while still conveying charm and cosiness. The house has a seismic, earthquake-proof base. Posts measuring 6 × 6 inches were used, which are 2.5 times stronger than the usual 4 × 4 inch posts. Pressure-treated (.60) pine trees with the dimensions 2 × 12 inches were used as beams, which were additionally provided with hurricane clips for increased stability in the event of earthquakes. The power cable is an AWG 12 cable. These expensive features of the house will prove their worth over the years.
