Playa Bluff is a wide sandy beach that stretches over a length of 5 kilometers and is used as a nesting site for 3 species of sea turtles (green sea turtle, hawksbill sea turtle and leatherback turtle), and has therefore been designated as a nature reserve. Between the properties on the beach and the wide beach there is a strip of green overgrown with trees, palms and other plants, which serves as a privacy screen. So the sea turtles are not distracted by the lights of the houses.
Mainly ex-pats have settled at Bluff Beach to enjoy the peace and nature in their own home or to run a small Ecolodge. At the beginning of Bluff Beach lives a community of indigenous families who, among other things, have dedicated themselves to the observation and protection of sea turtles, and also offer sustainable excursions to observe the nesting sea turtles. Bluff Beach is known for its waves, which, depending on the season, prevent swimming in the sea. However, there are also sheltered places, such as “La Piscina” (“The Swimming Pool”), where you can swim in calm water all year round.

The properties offered here are located on Bluff Beach, the most beautiful beach on the main island of the archipelago. In the midst of the beautiful nature, crystal clear water and wonderful tranquility, a large finca was divided into several plots, which now form a property community. Each of the 25 properties is separately titled and registered in accordance with regulations. While the plots along the coastal road have already been sold, the plots available offer several advantages. All properties are connected to the community entrance gate via communal roads. The width of these streets is at least 6m, which allows unhindered access to your property (even for heavy construction equipment).

In addition, there is a plot of land that is available to all owners as "Area Verde" ("Green Area"). In this area there is a seating area with a small platform as well as paths and a bridge. Regardless of how you design your own property, you can be very close to nature here, listen to the calls of the male strawberry frogs and enjoy the green of the tropical rainforest.

Furthermore, there is a 27 hectare large piece of rainforest adjacent to the property community, which is available to you and can be explored with authentic animal encounters during short excursions or sweaty adventure tours. The public electricity will be put on to the property community in a timely manner. Your water supply is self-sufficient via a rainwater collection system and a septic tank. If you do not want a connection to the public power grid, you can also install a solar system to enable your house to be supplied with electricity.
